Recorded Live At The Marquee Club, London On Wednesday 31st October 1984

Live at the Marquee is the first live album recorded at London's Marquee Club by progressive metal band Dream Theater. The cover image is inspired by the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It features the exclusive release of Bombay Vindaloo, an improvisation-based composition performed live only six times and never recorded in a studio. The Killing Hand is preceded by an instrumental titled Another Hand, written on tour specifically to bridge from the ending of Another Day. Live at The Marquee Club - The Move. The album is known for not being available domestically, and for having differing import versions. The album is also somewhat known for its use of overdubs, as James LaBrie was suffering a cold the night it was recorded. Mike Portnoy - Drums. John Petrucci - Guitar. John Myung - Bass. This live album, recorded circa 1980 at London's Marquee Club, is a mixed bag, featuring material from Gary Moore's 1979 solo album Back on the Streets and his band project G Force. Most impressive, perhaps, is the incredible musicianship in this performance from Moore and drummer Tommy Aldridge. Besides rocking out with Back on the Streets and Run to Your Mama, the band locks into a great groove on She's Got You. Complete Album stats. Freur Marquee Club, London - Apr 27, 1984 Apr 27 1984.
